Travelled up on holiday with my brother, from the central belt to visit the WIMPY restaurant in Fraserburgh. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE PLACE.
I'm old enough to remember when my town had a WIMPY, many years ago, and was fascinated at the fact it used metal cutlery and ceramic crockery!! LOVED every bit of this experience. I am VERY pleased to say that the restaurant STILL uses this unique service.
The food was excellently cooked. I forgot how good the special sauce tasted, that accompanied the meal. After meal, dessert consisted of Waffles and Ice cream....much to my delight.
I would very happily return again to this wonderful place. Thank you to all the staff at Fraserburgh for making our visit special.

What an absolute gem! We visited the Fraserburgh Wimpy today and had one of the best burger experiences we’ve had in a long time.
The food was outstanding. I had the Crispy Chicken Burger with two fried eggs added (highly recommended!), while my friend enjoyed the Quarter Pounder and the legendary Porky Bender. Everything was cooked perfectly, served piping hot, and tasted fresh and delicious.
The restaurant itself has recently been refurbished, and they’ve done a fantastic job. It feels bright, clean and modern while still keeping the charm and nostalgia that makes Wimpy so special. It’s wonderful to see one of the UK’s last remaining Wimpy restaurants looking so good.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient, making us feel genuinely appreciated from the moment we walked in.
Places like this deserve to thrive. In a world full of identical fast-food chains, Fraserburgh’s Wimpy offers something different—a classic British institution with great food, lovely service and a unique atmosphere. If you’re anywhere near Fraserburgh, make the trip. You won’t regret it.

It's like stepping back in time. Suddenly felt like I was back in the 90s. Service was fine. Food was made fresh. The place could do with a decent deep clean.

Super great place! I have been there twice and I found the club sandwich to be very yummy and filling! It feels a lot like my home town in America and the people were very friendly! I would like to go back, and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice diner expirience!

Great, really enjoyed our visit and a touch of nostalgia too as it has been probably 20 years since I've been in a Wimpy, there aren't many in Scotland.
Menu as hoped was pretty much as remembered and the food was great.
