Absolutely amazing experience every time that I visit. The restaurant is always spotless & immaculately clean, as are the toilets & you are always greeted with a warm welcome as soon as you come through the door. The staff are very attentive & not over-bearing & allow you time to look at the menu to order & if you wish to dine in, offer you your preferred choice of seating. The staff go out of their way to ensure that your experience is a positive & memorable one. Fresh food cooked to order & in my opinion, cooked to perfection! I have enjoyed Wimpy's since I was about 7yrs old & when I lived down south & the nearest ones still in existence to my home town are all over 30 miles away in South London, so when I moved to Ilkley 16yrs ago & found this little 💎 hidden in Huddersfield, it was time to revisit my favourite childhood memories & these guys never disappoint when I turn up! I last visited in October & walked in today & the waitress immediately remembered me & when I placed my order, she remembered how I wanted my food & she said that she remembered from the last time I was in. I ordered my Quarter Pounder & chips with no lettuce, cheese or tomato, I like lettuce & tomato, but just not on something hot, I'm allergic to cheese. I asked for the chips to be doubled bagged as it is a 24 mile trip back to Ilkley & hot chips on my leather seats would leave them greasy & the chef went one better than that, he came out & showed me a box & a couple of layers of greaseproof paper which he said he'd put the chips in. What a legend! I wasn't intending to eat the chips until I got home but the aroma of Sarson's vinegar & salt was too much to resist, so I ate them on the go when sat in traffic, I will demolish the Quarter Pounder later this evening. Forget McDonald's & Burger King, as Huddersfield Wimpy & their staff are the best! Marvin says so! See you again soon guys!

Having not been in a Wimpy for years, I was delighted to find one on my visit to Huddersfield. Went for a milkshake to go, staff were very friendly, fair prices, toilets immaculate, and the milkshake was the nicest I’ve ever had, tasted amazing. Will definitely be returning every time I’m near.

Nice environment food could be more better but already good

Here's what they don't tell you - an array of helpful and attentive Wimpy employees (Wimployees) are ready to greet you at the door as you enter. Be not afraid!! They are there to help you have a great time. Met friends, ate food, great time, not as dry as all the photos on the internet make it look.
