Well, I must admit, from the decades ago Wimpy reputation (bad!) I was more than a little dubious at eating here, but was forced to by my wife and teenager daughter! I was pleasantly surprised, bordering on amazed. The cappuccino was ok - not like a top quality coffee shop but perfectly ok. The mushrooms are the best small café mushrooms I have eaten - solid texture and great taste. The bacon was great too. Beans, hash browns, tomato and eggs were normal, as your expect. The sausages were budget sausages (nothing like quality butchers sausages) so not the best but fine for a normal café meal (after all, they have to consider people's budgets). The service was friendly and efficient (5*) and the background music was, in my opinion, great: Queen, Abba, AC/DC, and similar - plus it's a really long music recording, so doesn't keep wrapping around and repeating the same songs. The food, atmosphere and decor are different to, say, McDonald's if you fancy a change. Although they do sell burgers too, I've not tried or seen these so can't comment. The big breakfast in the photo was £12.99, so not cheap but not too expensive either. The other two meals are vegetarian and fine - see above for comments on the particular items on the plate. Recommended for this style of café.

They had budget friendly options too now, these were cooked perfectly. The signature items were too. Staff were friendly, attentive and seemed to care about the customer experience.
